About Me

meWho am I?…I am a teacher and proud of it! I am currently teaching at West Jordan High School, home of the mighty Jaguars, and I plan on retiring here in about 10 years! I actually graduated from West Jordan High and both of my children will attend and graduate from here as well. Needless to say, we bleed blue and black (WJHS colors). I have been teaching for 10808758075_4831234585_o20¬†years (the last 15 at WJHS) and decided I wanted to offer concurrent enrollment courses to my students. I want to give my students every advantage that I can to help them get ahead in life. In order to accomplish this, I decided to take courses from Boise State University to earn my Masters degree in Educational Technology. Once I receive this degree I will be able to offer several different concurrent enrollment classes to my incoming Jags! And, to be perfectly honest, I am also excited for the raise and the boost in my retirement!

Not only am I a teacher and student, but I’m also a mom of two of the best teenage girls. My oldest just graduated from WJHS this year and my youngest will be a Junior this coming school year. I’ve been married for 23 years to my best friend and am looking forward to many more years with him! I enjoy reading, watching movies and working in my yard. I also enjoy woodworking and have built several barbie doll houses, a few end tables and shelves, and even a couple of entertainment centers.
